We are delighted to welcome Deborah Schrijvers as Environmental Humanities Research Assistant, who will be coordinating social media and events promotion for the UCD Environmental Humanities virtual talks series.
Deborah is a recipient of the UCD PhD Ad Astra studentship scheme and joins us after completing degrees at Leiden University, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the University of Amsterdam. She brings expertise in animal studies, gender and sexuality studies and critical race theory, and is undertaking a research project on ‘Decolonizing Extinction’.
